Roof Replacement Process

Important Information regarding your Roofing Project

  1. Materials are delivered directly to your home prior to project commencement. We will call you the afternoon prior of any material delivery. Please have your driveway clear, as we will need access to your home and roof.

  2. Roofing materials will be loaded onto the roof directly, unless conditions do not permit direct roof loading. Roofing materials (that can not be roof loaded) will be placed in your driveway as close to the home as possible. If your home has limited space for materials, or you own a townhouse with reserved parking, please call to discuss placement of materials

  3. Every effort will be made to complete your work in a timely manner. Please keep in mind that poor weather conditions will shift our schedule and may delay the start of your project. If the project takes more than 1 day to complete, Genesis Industries will take all necessary precautions to ensure your home is sealed for the evening.

  4. We will need access to electricity for our equipment. If there are no exterior outlets on your property, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements.

  5. Please be aware that there will be noise for the duration of your job.

  6. For roof replacement, please cover all items in your attic, as debris may fall through spaces in the wood, especially on plank roof decks.

  7. If you have a skylight, please cover the floor under the skylight to collect debris and dust.

  8. Satellite dishes will be temporarily removed and re-fastened as needed. This may cause interference with the signals. Genesis Industries will not be responsible for any interference and your satellite technician may have to tune the dish after work is complete.

  9. Normal roofing operation causes vibration to the structure. Genesis Industries is not responsible for nail pops or hairline cracks in the drywall due to vibration from roofing operations and wood replacement operations. In addition, please be sure to walk through the house and secure all fragile objects, as Genesis Industries cannot be held responsible for these items.
